This unit features a 60 Watt Soldering Iron, a 500 Watt Hot Air Gun and a Preheating Station All-In-One.  The Soldering Iron and the Hot Air Gun are both Detachable (Not Hard Wired) to this unit.  You can easily change the LED readouts from Centigrade to Fahrenheit for the Soldering Iron & Hot Air Temperatures with the push of a button.
This unit Also Features a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) Controller often referred to as Magic Temperature Control Technology which this program will cycle every 20 milliseconds to detect the actual temperature of the soldering iron’s heating element, quickly correct it with a rapid return to the correct set temperature.  This unit also has a Self-Test function with full intelligence on over-temps, short-circuits and overloads.

The X-Tronic 5040-XR3 Model features a telescopic, fully adjustable, over arm hot air bracket.  You can insert the hot air gun and adjust it to a height of up to 7.00″ Inches above the bed.  The heat bed of the unit measures 4.75″ x 4.75″ and the circuit board brackets will hold a board up to 6.50″ wide.
Included is an X-Tronic 60 Watt Total Power Output Soldering Iron with a
54 Inch SILICONE CORD (60 Inches from the Tip of the Soldering Iron to the Plug).
These new silicone cords are extremely pliable and virtually have NO MEMORY!  The ceramic heating element and sensor in our soldering irons ensure a very rapid heat-up temperature and fast thermal recovery.  The soldering iron is padded and has an ergonomic design for extreme comfort and ease of use

The Hot Air Gun is 500 Watts and can accept many different sizes of hot air nozzles.
The dimensions of the hot air nozzles included with the unit are as follows: 2.5mm (0.09″) round, 4.4mm (0.17″) round, 7.0 mm (.27″) round, 9.0mm (.35″) round and 12mm (0.48″) square.  You will also appreciate that the Hot Air Gun on this unit has an all new protective feature.  If you are in the process of using the hot air gun and the air flow stops for any reason, the heating element in the gun will stop heating so as to prevent damage to the hot air gun, thus enhancing the safety performance of this product.
