These needles can be installed on the speedo without
Taking the needle hub off. Patience & a steady hand is required..
The needle hub has a slot the needle fits into, and is cauterized
In place (see 3rd pic for cauterization detail…)
Note…
Removing the needle hub is difficult, and dangerous to the speedo..
We do not and cannot give any advice on how to get your old Needle off
I’d suggest trying to get your old needle off first and then buying the replacement

On Ghia replacement, you will need to remove the glass lens
The glass lens is held on by a crimp ring…
It is difficult to get off, and requires patience, and skill….
