    Length:
    The maximum
    practical
    working length of this cord is 5 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 14 inches long,
    NOT 9 FEET
    . Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 9 foot cord because 9 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it’s the standard.
    It uses the standard 4P4C (4 pin 4 conductor) connector which is also called RJ9, RJ10 & RJ22. Do not use it between the phone and the wall jack. The wall jack is 6 or 8 pins wide. It would provide a loose, noisy connection.
    Style:
